Replacing the engine oil and oil filter

(a) Remove the bottom plate under the oil pan, and then place an oil container under the oil drain.

(b) To prevent oil from splashing on you, slowly pull down the drain handle to drain the oil, wait for the oil to drain and let it drain for 5 minutes, then lift the handle to close the drain valve.

(c) Open the side door on the right rear side, and then remove the oil filter with a filter wrench.

d) Clean the filter seat, fill the new filter with clean oil, apply oil (or a thin layer of grease) to the sealing surface and threaded parts of the filter, and then install the filter on the filter seat.

e) When installing, make sure the sealing surface contacts the sealing surface of the filter seat, and then further tighten it 3/4-1 turn.

(f) After replacing the filter, open the engine hood, add oil through the refueling port, and check whether the oil drain valve is leaking. If there is oil leakage, it must be solved before refilling. After 15 minutes, check whether the oil level is between the highest and lowest marks.

g) Install the base plate.
